Our evening guest Pijus previously talked about his adventures in America. This time he’s back with experiences from Japan.
“Hey, how are you?
Have you ever thought how important work is in your life?
Work makes us human, for we not only provide ourselves with basic necessities, but also evolve and improve. Our minds change and grow as our bodies follow. Work builds houses and cleans them. It raises kids and teaches them. It helps a person in need and feeds them. So the more we work – the better we will be, true?
If we work hard enough we can rebuild cities leveled by atomic bombs in a decade. We can liquidate a nuclear disaster and reduce the surrounding radiation to a bare minimum in a few years. Work can build cities resistant to the elements and accomplish astounding feats of engineering. Work is really important. Work is sometimes more important than your family and friends. You don’t sleep because of work. You don’t eat. You live and you die to complete your function.
Japan – a land with absolute safety, best service, extremely modern infrastructure, mountains, coral reefs, leading design and a special attention to detail. So close to utopia…
Let’s meet at Ideas Block and talk about what’s missing in this picture.”
