Asian studies in Lithuania

Asian week without sports day how would that look? Perhaps you also don’t know the answer to this question? That’s why this year you have to mark 7th of March in your calendars because we’re having Movement day! This is the day when you’ll need a lot of energy. This is the day when you’ll have a chance to try out a lot of East Asian Martial arts.

If you want to participate in the mini lessons you don’t need to wear any special clothes. Just wear comfortable shoes that you can take off quickly. And most importantly don’t forget to bring your smile and wish to learn something new. Maybe here you will find something that you want to learn more about.

Program of the Day of Movement:

2.00 P.M. – 2.25 P.M. Aikido Aiki Shuren Dojo
2.25 P.M. – 2.50 P.M. LSU Judo
2.50 P.M. – 3.10 P.M. Kyumeikan Kendo
3.10 P.M. – 3.30 P.M. Martial Arts Centre „Grizlis“
3.30 P.M. – 3.50 P.M. Wing Tsun Kung Fu
3.50 P.M. – 5.00 P.M. Confucius Institute
During the Day of Movement, you will be able to participate in the Japanese drums workshop lead by Motoichi Yuzawa, the leader of Japanese drums band “Daigen – Gumi”. Registration is required. Workshop time: 2:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. (VMU Great Hall, S. Daukanto st. 28);
Organizers: VMU Centre for Asian Studies, Japanese club “Hashi”, Korean culture club “Hallyu”, Chinese language and culture club “Wu Wei”.
