During the Screening, a Documentary about Chiune Sugihara “Sugihara Survivers: Jewish and Japanese, Past and Future” (director: Junichi Kajioka) will be presented. The movie has never been shown in Lithuania before, and is the first of its genre for the director himself.
This a movie for everyone, not depending on age, nationality or religion. It is a movie about the good in a man and the courage to act with right intentions in difficult times, made to spread the memory of such a great man as Ch. Sugihara. The director himself is also an award-winning actor by his own right. He comes to Kaunas specially for Sugihara Week and will present his movie by himself.
