Sugihara Week Classical Music Concert will feature flutist Machiko Takahashi, violinists Yurina Arai and Reina Shibutani, and pianist Aki Maeda. At the moment, the musicians are engaged in concert activities mainly in Europe and all have already performed in Lithuania.
Soloists from Japan will be accompanied by pianist Kotryna Kaklauskaitė from Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy. The program will feature masterpieces of classical music and Japanese tunes which have been specially selected by each musician for Lithuanian audiences.We hope that this Concert will promote cooperation between Lithuanian and Japanese musicians and deepen interest in Japanese music.
