The Centre for Asian studies together with the Department of Philosophy and the Faculty of Catholic Theology announces the Call for Papers to the international interdisciplinary academic conference “Christian World and East Asian Traditions: Symbols, Concepts, Practices“, which will take place in Kaunas, on September 18-20, 2014.
The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from a wide range of disciplines, interested in the interrelationship between the Christian world and East Asia in various areas such as philosophy, religious studies, social and political sciences, literature and arts.
Please submit an abstract of your paper of 250-300 words (500 words if your paper will be presented not in English), together with your name, position, and institutional affiliation to religio@ktf.vdu.lt and to a.budriunaite@gmail.com by April 30, 2014. The abstract should be sent as an email attachment in Microsoft Word format. Each proposal will undergo a peer review process.
