Chinese Painting Exhibition “New Silk Road Chinese Painting”

Location: Vilniaus universiteto botanikos sodo muziejus Kairėnuose, Kairėnų g. 43, Vilnius

More than 40 brush and ink paintings from Yangtze Delta Art Gallery are brought to the New Silk Road Chinese Painting Exhibition in Lithuania. The previous exhibitions were held in Japan, France, Italy, Switzenland, US, Canada, Sweden, Finnland, Denmark, Norway as well as the headquarter of UN in New York. The current exhibition tour includes Lithuania, Poland and Czech Republic.

The art works have been painted by Chinese painting master Wu Peng and 10 other famous Chinese artists, to name a few, Xie Renjie, Shen Xiaoqian, Gao Yixian. With traditional Chinese painting skills, this exhibition will show the Lithuanian audience natural scenery and breathtaking landscapes depicted in a traditional Chinese style as well as to strenthen people-to people exchange and cultural communication between China and Lithuania. A few of the paintings will be donated to the Beautiful Heart Foundation Lithuania, for charity purpose.
