The second day of Asia week will charm with various flavors and fragrances from East Asia. The event will consist of Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine presentations. It’s a great chance not only to try the cuisine but also to take part in the process of making it. The event is going to be divided into three sessions for each country.

This year representatives from the Japanese embassy will showcase two dishes – Gyoza dumplings and Onigiri rice balls. The Korean community will introduce Tteokbokki spicy stir-fried rice cakes and Tteokguk rice cake soup that is eaten during the Lunar New year celebration. Chinese cuisine will be represented by the Confucius institute, which will offer spring pancakes and sweet Chinese porridge. Hot and cold drinks will be sold at the restaurant. The participants will have a possibility to try beverages from a Japanese provider “Choya”.

15:00 – 15:45 Japanese cuisine;
15:50 – 16:35 Korean cuisine;
16:40 – 17:25 Chinese cuisine;
17:30 – 18:00 “Choya” degustation.

NOTE: Before the even you will be asked to show your identity document.

The entry fee for one – 4 euros. The entry fee for two sessions – 8 euros. The entry fee for all three sessions 10 euros.

The location – restaurant ‘Metropolis’ (S. Daukanto g. 21, Kaunas). Doors open at 2:45 pm. The event begins at 3:00 pm. The number of participants is limited.
