„Meeting Dr. Sun” directed by Chih-yen Yee is a politically poignant comedy featuring students who are plotting a heist.
Two teenage boys, Lefty and Sky, attend the same school but have never met. However, they do have a few things in common: They are both very intelligent, come from poor families, and have the same idea about how to improve their financial situations – steal a bronze stature of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, and sell it for a handsome sum. Lefty eventually discovers Sky’s plan and want to cooperate on the chapter, but Sky has other ideas. Now, with two rivals seeking the same prize, it comes down to a battle of wits.
Movie will be shown in Chinese, with English subtitles.
