Personal exhibition by Rima Balniene “Silk Symphony”. Artist Rima Balniene currently lives in Zurich (Switzerland). In Lithuania she attended Kaunas Old Town art studio, where she learned abstract acrylic painting on canvas and Shibori fabric coloring.In Switzerland she learned watercolor and acrylic painting from Peter Leutwyler and Erwin Eggimann. Painting on silk she learned from Gitte Bachman. Rima is a member of the Silk Painting Association (SPIN) and also of Artist Association of Switzerland. Since 2010 she has been participating in exhibitions in Switzerland and also had solo exhibitions in Lithuania.
Rima creates abstract paintings compositions on canvas, silk and clothing, the most colorful of them we will see in exhibition “Silk Symphony”.
