Eldad Zitrin – Musician, Producer, Arranger, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist

Whether working with pop, classical, or world music, Eldad Zitrin harmonizes different musical styles and genres into original, groundbreaking compositions. After studying classical music for 10 years, Zitrin began working with some of the biggest artists and singers in Israel. He has performed with pop icon Rita since 2007, as her Music Director. Together they have performed at the “Babel Med” festival in France and at the United Nations.

For over a decade, Zitrin collaborated on various albums and productions with distinguished artists such as Idan Raichel, Shlomi Shabat, Arkadi Duchin, Mika Karni and Arik Einstein. In 2011, in partnership with singer Irit Dekel, he created the highly-successful project “Last of Songs.” The tracks offer new interpretations of familiar jazz songs, infused with a touch of pop, ethnic, classical and electronic music. The project has performed at the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, the Red Sea Jazz Festival, and across Europe .

Since 2015, Zitrin has translated his success as a producer and arranger for other artists into his own artistic ambitions. He wrote and composed original scores for the Channel One TV series, “Where Do You Live” And is also producing an album for the Alaev family, together with Nir Maimon. In the beginning of 2017, he released his first solo music project. The Double Album consists of one pop/indie album and one classical piano album. During 2016 Eldad started performing with his original music as a “one-man-band”, recording and looping himself on acoustic and electric instruments, piano, synths, accordion, mandolin, saxophone, drums, vocals, percussion and more, creating his music in layers. The idea is to give the audience a different performing experience, an experience of a recording studio LIVE ON STAGE. Through the way that Eldad builds the layers of his music the audience can hear each part of the music separately – hear, watch and understand how the songs grows from one instrument line the into a full and complete playback, while doing that he sings his songs .

The solo act concept takes all the knowledge and experience Zitrin have, combining all the different things he loves to do as a musician and challenges him to a higher level of performance .
These days Eldad is working on new songs in English and new instrumental material for exporting his show outside of Israel.
