On March 5th, at VMU Small Hall the opening of VMU Asian Week will take place. It will start a week-long cycle of events dedicated to East Asian culture.
During the opening participants will be welcomed by the Chinese Ambassador H.E. Mr. Shen Zhifei, Korean Ambassador H. E. Mr. Sung-joo Choi and Japanese Consul Mr. Masaru Aniya.
VMU Asian Week is aimed to introduce general public with the East Asia region (Japan, China and Korea) through the presentation of culture, languages, martial arts, cuisine, etc. The event is organized by the Centre for Asian Studies at Vytautas Magnus University together with the students’ clubs “Hashi”, “Wu Wei” and “Hallyu” and our social partners.
