International Centre of Litvak Photography presents photo-collage inspired and created from old photographies of one Litvak family who lived in Kaunas after WWII.
In this artwork, Richard Schofield, the Director of International Centre of Litvak Photography, tries to consider questions of ethnical, personal freedom and identity of one Litvak family who survived Holocaust and expresses hope for better future. According the author, this is political artwork that explores breakdown of Lithuanian multicultural society and is expressed in a pastiche form of traditional religious tryptych.The start of creating this artwok will begin on 2 September, 15:45 in front of Hotel Metropolis, Daukanto str.
